CJ TOOLS PLANT LIST: Goodway GS 600

Goodway high performance turning centres are designed to provide continuous production of precision parts as a result of rigorous testing and the inherent design of the thermally balanced Meehanite bed casting together with NSK precision P4 spindle bearings and ‘machine active’ sensitive slide lubrication system. Featuring super rigid slant bed and box slideway designs, the Maximum Performance level turning centres offer multi-tasking abilities. On the GS2600 series, live tooling and Cs axis are available with Y axis and sub spindle options to further extend the machining capabilities.

Fanuc controls and Alpha i motors and drives are used throughout with the option of the conversational Manual Guide i programming function. All axes motors have Absolute Encoders providing instantaneous axes position knowledge on power-up.

Most spindle motors are reversed into the machine frame to afford the minimum of machine footprint and floor space. Coolant tanks are separate to the machine casting to afford ease of fluid changing and cleaning.
