SUPER PRECISION PARTS

Super Precision Parts can be produced on a variety of machines and are components or parts which are manufactured with almost impossible tolerances.
They are produced on specially adapted machine tools with very high quality tooling and fixturing, using special machining techniques and spindle speeds of up to 160,000 rpm. The whole process is temperature controlled.
Super Precision Parts can be produced from:
- Sawn block or billet in various materials:
- Hot or Cold Rolled Steels/Stainless/Heat resisting
- Non-ferrous metals/brass/Copper/AliBronze/Aluminium
- Ground Stock
- Super Precision
- Round, Hexagonal or Square sections
- Special Sections
- Castings or Forgings in any materials pre-machined for location or raw requiring milling or holding fixtures
- Pultrusions and extrusions in aluminium and plastics and composites
- Sub assemblies requiring machining as an assembly
- Parts initially produced on a range of regular machines ready for follow up:
- Grinding

- Surface
- Lapping
- Polishing
- Depending on the economics of:
